Sung Wook joined Warwick Medical School in 2014 in Health Economics. He is currently working on a number of projects, including the evaluation of A Better Start. Sung Wook gained a BA in Sociology from Korea University in 2006, followed by the completion of both an MSc in Finance from the University of St. Andrews in 2010, and an MSc in Health Economics from the University of York in 2011. He completed a PhD in Health Economics - ‘Improving the efficiency of HIV care’ - undertaken at University College London. Sung Wook’s research interests include drug pricing, economic evaluation and econometric analysis, with a specific interest in HIV treatment, focusing on quantitative analysis. He has worked as a Research Assistant at the University of York and as a Research Intern at the World Health Organisation.
